Hugo Rojas to Chris Christie: My Child Isn't 'Trivial'

Last week, Gov. Chris Christie vetoed a bill that would have reduced the permitted size of high-capacity ammunition magazines in the state of New Jersey from 15 down to 10 round clips. He dismissed the bill as a “trivial approach to the sanctity of human life,” striking down the legislation, which had already cleared the Assembly and Senate, just one hour after the parents of three children killed in the violent shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School visited his office in a show of support.
