Voting is a vital part of our democracy!

The 2020 Election season is officially upon us. Due to the pandemic, some things have changed, but the importance of voting remains the same. Whether voting by mail or in person, make sure you have a plan to cast your ballot by November 3rd, 2020.

Confirm Your Registration Status and Polling Location

Head to Vote.org to make sure your registration is up-to-date. If you moved recently, you may need to update your location. Many states now allow mail-in voting to accommodate for the pandemic, so you may be eligible to apply for a mail-in ballot. If you’d rather vote in person, confirm you’re heading to the right place at the right time on November 3rd.

Know Your Ballot

Do you know all the elected positions that will appear on your ballot? If not, get a preview at BallotReady.org. You’ll also be able to explore the candidates’ histories and stances on issues to help you select your preferred candidate.

Mark your calendars and make your plan

Making a plan to vote is an easy way to ensure your voice is heard. Answer a few simple questions before Election Day to make sure you’re set to vote!

  • Will you vote in person or by mail?
  • If in person, what time will you vote?
  • If in person, how will you get to the polls?
  • If by mail, when will you send in your ballot?

However you choose to vote or cast your ballot, make sure your voice is heard and your vote is counted!
