Our mission is grounded in valuing prevention over fear. That’s why, given the scope of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we’re taking measures to protect the health and safety of our staff, partners, and the school communities we serve.

Carrying on our Mission During the COVID-19 Crisis

With children across the country staying home from school to prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), our focus on protecting their safety and well-being has never been more important. Research shows that when young people feel excluded, bullied or depressed, they’re at risk of harming themselves or others.

The heartbreaking reality is that these problems don’t go away when students are kept at home – such issues can get worse during this crisis. Social isolation leaves some children without access to school-based support. Sadly, others at risk of abuse at home are increasingly vulnerable. That’s why we’re continuing our work to protect children from violence, including:
