Sandy Hook Promise supports schools, districts, state education agencies, and youth-serving organizations across the United States with practical, easy-to-implement programs that align with character education, bullying prevention, social emotional learning (SEL), multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) and positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) standards and frameworks.

Sandy Hook Promise’s prevention programs are grounded in research and analysis of major mass attacks and school shootings. Our ongoing work includes a partnership with the University of Michigan Prevention Research Center, community-based learning projects, and published evaluations that continue to strengthen and inform our programs.
Our student-facing programs offer comprehensive collections of brief, engaging, and easy to implement lesson plans and activities designed for specific ages and developmental stages across the K-12 grade range.
