5 Actions That Take Only 5 Minutes Each

  • Learn and Share the 10 Warning Signs of someone at risk of hurting themselves or others. Then pledge to “say something” to a trusted adult to get help.
  • Make The Promise. Stand in solidarity with Sandy Hook Promise to protect children from gun violence. Promise to do all you can to help create safer schools, homes, and communities.
  • Check Out Our Blog for student resources, ideas, and news. And you can read guest blogs by high school students and members of our National Youth Advisory Board.
  • Visit Our Digital Learning Center to get free activities and access trainings for our Start With Hello and Say Something programs for grades K-12.
  • Watch and Share Our Award-Winning Video. Our “Evan” Public Service Announcement (PSA) raises awareness of the warning signs that can lead to school shootings, youth violence, and other harmful acts. Gun violence is preventable when you know the signs.
