Supporting You in Supporting Youth

Sandy Hook Promise is constantly researching new opportunities for teaching young people and adults to recognize, intervene, and get help for individuals who may be socially isolated or at risk of hurting themselves or others. Our adult capacity building efforts are moving into exciting new areas with more on the horizon: corporate partnerships, colleges and universities, and parent organizations.

Coming Soon! Family Leadership Training

We recognize the vital role of parents and caregivers to educate and empower youth to prevent violence in schools, homes, and communities.

That’s why we’re developing a program that partners with parent-serving organizations through workshops that educate families on their role in school and community violence prevention, presenting tools and strategies around parenting best practices, family activities, ideas for school and community collaboration, and more.

Are you a family-focused organization leader interested in partnering with Sandy Hook Promise? Contact Emily Schofield, Director of Adult Programs.
