The National Youth Empowerment Board (NYEB) is a select group of high school leaders chosen for their deep commitment to preventing social isolation, violence, and self-harm in their schools and communities through their SAVE Promise Clubs and other Sandy Hook Promise (SHP) programs. They play a crucial part in making Sandy Hook Promise’s mission to “educate and empower youth and adults to make their schools, homes, and communities safer” come to fruition.

As a result of the Beyond Differences and Sandy Hook Promise integration in 2024, the two youth boards — the National Teen Board (also called Youth Amplified) from Beyond Differences and the Youth Advisory Board from SHP’s SAVE Promise Clubs — have been combined into one. The National Youth Empowerment Board (NYEB) represents all of Youth Leadership at Sandy Hook Promise.
