Thank you for your interest in serving on the National Youth Empowerment Board! We are currently in a building year, combining two former youth boards into one Board that represents all of Youth Leadership at Sandy Hook Promise. We are pausing our application cycle this year (Spring ‘26), to intentionally co-design the future application process with the members of the newly combined board. We will resume our larger scale application cycle next year (Spring ‘27).
More to come on the goals, Qualifications and expectations of the National Youth Empowerment Board as well as what next year’s application process will look like.
