The mission of Sandy Hook Promise is to end school shootings and create a culture change that prevents violence and other harmful acts that hurt children. Through our evidence-informed “Know the Signs” programs, we teach young people and adults to recognize, intervene, and get help for individuals who may be at risk of hurting themselves or others. All SHP offerings are available to schools and youth organizations at no cost.
