Each year, millions of grade 5-8 students in thousands of schools nationwide participate in No One Eats Alone® (NOEA) Day, a national event dedicated to fostering peer-led community building and creating a sense of belonging among youth. This school year's No One Eats Alone Day is February 13, 2026.

Top Ways to Get Involved in No One Eats Alone Day

No One Eats Alone Day is designed for schools that want to celebrate the importance of connectedness, kindness, and belonging. Inspired by our peer-led No One Eats Alone program, this proven, no-cost initiative helps students recognize social isolation and build meaningful connections – starting in the lunchroom and lasting all year. For grades 5-8.

After registering, you’ll receive an email with access to your digital program materials, including:

  • A planning guide for educators and student leaders with suggested activities for celebrating NOEA Day
  • A student leadership guide for organizing and leading a successful NOEA Day
  • 3 interactive lesson plans focused on recognizing emotions, understanding social isolation, and fostering social connections
  • Bring your celebration to life with a free Belonging Box! Each box includes a Connect the Dots mural activity (3×10 ft), 100 NOEA wristbands, and a QR code postcard linking to digital resources and conversation cards. * Available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Limited supply – one box per school.
  • An invitation to attend a NOEA Day Workshop
  • Student-facing materials available in Spanish
