Everything you need to implement a successful Say Something Program and Say Something Week.
Sandy Hook Promise’s no-cost Say Something program teaches young people how to recognize the warning signs of someone at-risk of hurting themselves or others and how to “say something” to a Trusted Adult to get help.
The Say Something Week Kit provides ideas and best practices for teachers, staff, and administrators. The kit provides easy-to-implement activities —whether you do activities all week or just one day of the national call-to-action week.
This Back-to-School Guide contains Say Something activities that you can make part of your class routine throughout March and beyond. The Social-Emotional Learning activities reinforce key messages in the Say Something and Start With Hello programs and help build inclusive and caring classroom communities.
The Say Something student trainings are accessible for grades K-12 and can be completed in one class period. Sandy Hook Promise offers interactive trainings, slide deck presentations, and student workbooks to accompany trainings. To access these trainings, register for our Learning Center at no cost to you, to gain access to all of the Say Something resources and more!
Download the Say Something Family Activity Guide to help bring the program’s messaging to families by engaging in the suggested monthly activities.
