What is Say Something Week?

Each year, thousands of schools, districts and youth-serving organizations nationwide come together to celebrate Say Something Week, a powerful movement that spotlights the impact of Trusted Adults and Upstanders in your community. It’s a week that includes easy to implement activities and conversations focused on empowering students to take action and create change. This year’s Say Something Week is March 23-27, 2026.

Top Ways to Get Involved in Say Something Week

Sign Up

Open to any school or community organization serving grades K-12 that wants to create a culture to prevent school violence through our Say Something program. Our proven, no-cost program teaches students how to recognize the warning signs of someone at-risk of hurting themselves or others and how to tell a Trusted Adult to get help. Say Something Week activities are drawn directly from the complete no-cost Say Something program and reinforce its core skills and messaging.

You’ll receive an email that directs you to Say Something Week your resources, including:

  • Downloadable daily themes and activities flyer to guide your week with quick, meaningful ways to participate

  • Activities drawn from and inspired by the Say Something program are quick, simple, and exciting. They are perfect for classrooms, advisory periods, or youth organizations

  • Family Monthly Activity Guide to extend learning and conversations beyond the classroom

  • Access to the Digital Learning Center for additional resources and learning activities

 

Friday of Say Something Week is designated as “Be Kind Online Day,” to encourage students to be Upstanders and help create welcoming digital spaces that reject bullying and social isolation.

Say Something Week registration typically opens in the winter.
